Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Please read these terms before using Masjidly (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to them.

1. What Masjidly is

Masjidly is an informational and community app connecting users to masjids for prayer times, announcements, events, and community features. Masjidly is not a religious authority, does not issue religious rulings, and listing a masjid does not imply that masjid's official endorsement of the App unless stated otherwise.

2. No payment processing

Masjidly does not process donations or payments. Where the App links to a masjid's donation page, that transaction happens entirely on the masjid's own website, subject to their own terms — not ours.

3. Accuracy of times and content

We make reasonable efforts to source accurate prayer times, Qur'an text, and community content, but times may be entered by masjid staff, calculated automatically, or occasionally out of date. Always confirm time-sensitive religious obligations directly with your masjid. Qur'an text and translation are sourced live from quran.com; Masjidly does not alter this content.

4. User-submitted content

Some features (Jummah Stalls, channel messages, masjid updates) let masjid admins or community members post content. You agree not to post content that is illegal, fraudulent, harassing, or that misrepresents affiliation with a masjid. Masjid admins are responsible for reviewing Jummah Stall listings before they go public. Every Jummah Stall listing has a Report option; reports go to the admin of the masjid the listing belongs to, who can remove it. You can also report any content to us at masjidlyapp@gmail.com. We may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Masjid listings

Masjidly may list masjids based on publicly available information without that masjid's prior involvement. If you represent a listed masjid and want to claim, correct, or remove your listing, contact us and we'll act on it promptly.

6. Admin access

Masjid admin access is protected by a passcode specific to that masjid. You're responsible for keeping that passcode confidential. Masjidly is not responsible for actions taken by anyone who obtains a masjid's passcode, authorized or not.

7. No warranty

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all displayed information is complete or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Masjidly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on prayer times, event details, or other content shown in it.

9. Termination

We may suspend or remove access to any feature, listing, or content at our discretion, including content that violates these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the App changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to masjidlyapp@gmail.com.
